I have been playing the game Skyrim the last few nights and I can't fully describe just how unfathomably beautiful the landscapes are to wander through and explore. I have some experience creating virtual 3D environments and I can't begin to imagine how they did it. This has become a problem as my distracted sightseeing has made me low hanging fruit for the native fauna that would just as soon eat me, no matter how much I admire their habitat.The following screenshots only give the slightest idea what it is like to hike through these places:

The key is good tools. You can download the Creation Kit now if your'e curious. It's the same toolset used by the devs.
